MAYDAY Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Service Desk Support Officer supporting a busy community focussed NSW Government department. Assist with a broad range of enquiries surrounding Payroll, HR and Finance whilst the business conducts important system upgrade. This role offers a range of Customer service and administrative support to the larger team.

This role involves:
- Act as a point of contact assisting with Finance and payroll enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in regards to the system upgrade
- Promoting and supporting stakeholders with the self-service function, providing instructions and advice on how to navigate
- Support with complaint handling with a sympathetic approach and offering further advice as to how to resolve the customers issue
- Undertake a range of administrative support services relating to the enquiry, business and system upgrade
- Follow policies and procedures in line with the new system roll out
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a high volume call centre environment
- Experience in either HR or Finance support services
- Ability to work within tight timelines and guidelines
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
- High attention to detail
